One thousand dots of love
Dear Mom and Dad,
I was sorry to leave my beautiful Tahoe mountains but real glad you didn’t leave me there. I’m so glad too, Mom, that you take me on long morning walks. It reminds me of home. I especially like the stairs because you take off my leash and I get to pretend I’m back in Desolation Wilderness and on the scent of a golden-mantled ground squirrel. Ha! Now, there’s a squirrel for ya. (These silly city Gray Squirrels think they are so special…)
I do have one small complaint, though. There’s just a little too much noise going on around here. Perhaps you can start inviting Dad so he can walk ahead of us? He can halt all construction, divert the loud trucks and please, for all that is holy, avoid fireworks.
When this pawdemic* is over, this small request also extends to parties. Is it possible for you to tell your friends to stand a squeech closer together so they don’t have to talk so loud?
If that’s too much to ask, I’ll move them closer together myself. You can all have a good laugh at my inner herder.
Love,
Stoady

About the piece: Stoady’s rich black and white dotted coat extends out to the ocean’s blue/green splashes emanating as points of love. The base image utilized special paper and printing process which allowed the gossy paint colors to pop.
