Dear Mom and Dad,

Thanks for finding me.  I am having a blast living with you.  I love our long walks and think it’s so funny that you also would rather play play play than stare at that silly screen all day.  You keep saying that you have to bring home money.  But, I don’t need money.  I just need chew toys and you guys. So, forget that screen.

Last night I had the funniest dream.  I dreamt I was all grown up.  But Dad, you were young.  We lived someplace that had lots of room to run, and colors everywhere.  We hung out all the time and it was my job to be protector and loyal friend.  I took that job very seriously and you thanked me for it every day.  It felt very real, like I’ve been with you before.

But in this life, I don’t have to dream to be with you both.  Heaven to me is this morning, with you.

Love,

Ziggy
